Secretary Kody Kinsley serves as North Carolina’s Secretary of Health & Human Services, overseeing a department with over 18,000 staff and a $38 billion budget.
ASAC Philip VanWyngarden entered on duty with the FBI in 2009 as a Special Agent and
was assigned to the Oklahoma City Field Office, Tulsa Resident Agency.

Kara Stewart (Sappony) was a Reading Specialist and Literacy Coach for twenty-four years in the Orange, Durham, and Person County public schools as well as Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools.
Lawrence Shorty (Navajo) Lawrence is currently the Director of the Tribal Colleges and Universities Program in the Office of Tribal Relations at the US Department of Agriculture.
Nora Dial-Stanley is an enrolled member of the Lumbee Tribe of NC. She has spent over 40 years as an Advocate and a Voice for her Native American People traveling across the country as a Native American Storyteller.

A.C. Locklear, a citizen of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina, is the Federal Relations Director for the National Indian Health Board (NIHB).
Hattie J. Campbell (Waccamaw Siouan) is a revered figure within the Native American community of St. James in Lake Waccamaw, NC. Her life has been dedicated to serving others in multifaceted and impactful way.
Kerry Bird Kerry D. Bird is an enrolled citizen of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate and of Lumbee tribal heritage. He graduated with a BA in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds a Masters of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Quinn West Godwin was born and raised in Pembroke, NC and is an enrolled member of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina. Godwin graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Dramatic Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

Mrs. Shelia Godwin is a member of the Lumbee Tribe and resides in Pembroke, NC. She is married to Harvey Godwin. They have 2 children and 1 grandchild.
Shelia taught art within the public school system in Robeson County for 29 years
